Important safety information
SPRAVATO® carries boxed warnings for sedation, dissociation, respiratory depression, abuse and misuse, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Antidepressants can increase suicidal thoughts and behaviors in people age 24 and younger. Blood pressure may increase. Treatment is provided only through the SPRAVATO® REMS program, with monitoring for at least two hours and assessment before discharge. Arrange transportation home; do not drive until the next day after restful sleep. SPRAVATO® is not approved for children or shown to prevent suicide. Computerized neurocognitive assessment provides additional information about attention, memory, and other areas of cognitive functioning. Results are interpreted with your history and clinical evaluation, rather than used as a stand-alone diagnosis. Contact the Office About Testing.
